2002 jeep liberty sport speedo not working changed all sensors and still not working no broken wires cluster every thing works but speedo

If you can connect to the computer with a code reader see the data to see if the speedometer signal is present. The vehicle speed sensor send the data to the cluster and the speedometer. If you have a VSS signal and no broken wires or loose connections then the cluster is just no good. Do all the other gauges work? If they do then it seems the speedo is shot.

I have a clarion cy358 car audio system. it has CD am/FM. I wanna know whether what format is compatible with this CD player? Can I play mp3? it doesnt show any mp3 icon on the interface.

it only need to indicate WMA or MP3 when its playing in that format. depending on how old the head unit is... most head units sold after the new ISO-9001 Standards need to display any and all specs http://www.iso.org/iso/about/the_iso_story.htm try burning a data copy first to see if the head unit can search through the folders... if it wont search or do anything at all... its .wave (cd) if the display reads unsupported format and continues to search....it does play mp3/wma to get the mp3/wma files to play, change the settings in the burner program. (try default settings) ..... it takes time to render a nice mp3 disc from scratch, one its working, its really rewarding... 18-20 songs just isnt enough anymore.... try to use 320kbps mp3's as much as you can... anything lower will make ant car stereo sound like a 10 dollar alarm clock... keep the bit-rate high when it comes to music... your ears will last longer too...

My 2004 ford freestar van 's 6 cd player isn't working since I put a new battery in the van. The radio displays "check player". The radio works fine. is there a code or something else I'm missing?

I am having the same code display after a new battery. I brought the van into the local Ford dealer for something else and told them about the radio. They wanted $150 to diagnose each problem I was having with the van. What a rip-off, I didn't have them "diagnose" the player. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Great Clarion Disk Changer, 6 CDs CDC-655Z:
CDC655z Multi-Disc Changer - 6 -disc direct load mechanism. - 1-Bit D/A converter. - 10 sec. read ahead memory to prevent interruptions caused by shock and vibrations. - Non-stop play. - Optical Digital Output. - 0º to +90º mounting angle.
Great Multi-disk player. Works only with Clarion audio source units.
Selling b/c my deck player broke- I can give you the deck- maybe you can fix it. The model is DXZ-535, comes with owner's manual and remote.

On my ford explorer xls, the cd player just reads

Call the local dealership over the phone tell them your stock stereo player is in security mode, give them the code it's displaying to you and they will give you an unlock code. Easy as pie :)

CD Changer doesn't work after changing battery on Jeep Liberty 20

The CD changer probably failed to establish it's link to the head unit when you put the new battery in.

Since you've already tried the clear button, I'd suggest unplugging the IP-BUS cable (black cable) from the back of the changer, wait a minute (literally, 60 seconds) and plug it back in.

Purchased a 1995 ford explorer with a 6 disc cd changer and it now will not eject the cd cartridge and when the cd player button in pushed a message comes up ''no dj''. have read the owner's manual and it...

If there is a cartridge in the unit, you need to take the player out. pull the housing and do a manual release. do not force it. Possible problem could be 2 discs in the same slot or 2 discs trying to enter tray, either way, if the cartridge is present, it's jammed and needs to be pulled apart. If my memory is correct the factory unit was either Alpine or Clarion. The cartridges are still available at most car audio shops. 20-30 bucks. If you don't feel comfortable pulling the unit, most custom shops can check it on the spot, and let you know if it needs to be sent out for repair. Stay away from Best Buy, etc... go to a custom shop that's been around for a while and you'll get honest service.
