You will need to get into menu and enable the external speakers. Some older TV may have a switch at the back to turn the external speakers ON.

How can i make it produce speaker sound and head phone sound ?

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Bush TV LE-20GY15T+DVD How do I connect external speakers to this TV ?

Unless the TV itself has separate speaker outputs, then you will have to work through an audio receiver which can be hooked up to run the audio signal through the unit and into speakers.

NO Audio / picture OK .

Hello
First check whether the mute function is ON. If so make it OFF. If it is in OFF, and still there is no sound output from your tV, check its speaker first. You can check it by using a torch cell and two pieces of wires. Connect the wires at the both terminals of the battery, and touch the other end of the wire to, two terminals of the speaker. If the speaker is good, a 'thumb' sound will be heard from it. If no such sound, speaker is faulty. Replace the speaker with same type and number.
If the speaker is good, ans still there is no sound, the audio output section of your TV has the trouble. The most common faults to this section are Output IC damage, and loose soldering points. Check whether there is any loose soldering points in the audio output card. Especially check the solder terminals of the audio output IC. This IC will heat up whild it sorks, and repeated heating and cooling make the solder terminals of it to be get loose contatecd. Normally these loose soldering contacts are very difficult to detect, as they will be microscopically small. Just resolder all the suspected solder points by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjecent solder terminals. You must have a concept of soldering to do this work. If his also does not help you, either replace the Audio Output IC ir replace the audio output card.

The speakers are not working. if i turn up the volume, I can hear static noise, but do not get any sound. tv speakers are on. I played around with the audio settinds and all the different hdmi ports,...

Hello
There are two possibilites for this fault. The first one is, damaged speaker voice coil and the second one is damaged audio output IC. To confirm it you have to open your TV. Speakers can be checked without removing them from the cabin fittings. Check them with the helap of a multimeter; set in OHms range. You can alos check it with a standard torch cell also. Connect the two terminals of the torch cell to the two terminals of the speaker [intermittantly, not constantly]; will produce a 'thumb' sound; if the speaker is good.
Connect the 'audio out socket' of the tv, with any other audio equipment, and listen whether there is sound form the external audio equipment, like amplifier or so. If there is sound from the external audio equipment, and no sound from the internal speaker of the TV, and the speaker is good, surely the 'audio output IC' of the TV is damged and should be replaced. OK.

Hi, I bought a Bush L319 tv and the audio out of it is rubbish with only 3w speakers. It says it has a digital coaxial audio output but with the tv in an apartment abroad I dont know what sort of output...

I suppose we get what we pay for. I would do exactly that. A decent amplifier and off you go. The sound quality going to the external amplifier is as good as any other system it is just the internal speaker/amplifier is a bit basic.

How can i connect my 32" sony bravia?because the

Route the television audio directly through a stereo receiver. Connect the audio outputs of the television to the audio inputs of the receiver, using digital (coaxial or optical) or RCA (left and right audio) cables. Connect the left and right stereo speaker to the corresponding terminals on the receiver. Be sure that the positive and negative terminals of each speaker and the receiver are correctly lined up

Use a cable box. If your television doesn't have audio outputs, as many older TVs don't, use the outputs from a cable box to route your sound to the receiver. Proceed with a digital or RCA connection as described for the TV

Use a VCR. If you don't have a cable box, run the cable from the wall outlet into your VCR and then instead of outputting the audio to the TV, output it to the receiver so that you'll get sound from cable programming through the receiver and to the speakers, rather than to the TV. Connect the video output from the VCR directly to the TV for the easiest setup. You will then need to control your television programming with the VCR.

Change the program mode on the receiver to the input category you used to input the audio; for example, "TV," "Cable" or "Aux" are common options. You should now be able to hear audio from television programs on your speakers.

Wire house speakers

Two ways--first you can open up the unit and use the exsisting wires from the tvs internal speakers or goto radio shack and ask them for a audio jack splitter, you would than connect the wires from the speaker to the splitter then plug the jack into the audio input on the back of the tv.If your thinking youll get more sound from these speakers by doing this it wont work unless you have a surrond sound system.Only an amplifier can boost the output.

Yes you can,,,,,BUT the output labelling on the AMP will tell you where you can connect the 4ohms or the 8ohms....please read these labels and connect the 4ohm speakers to the 4ohm terminals, and the 8ohms to the 8ohms terminals...

If you intend to connect the 4ohm and the 8ohm speakers in parallel then the output impedance terminals you use should be the 4ohm ones.

If there is no labelling showing any 4ohm output terminals then its best if you dont use the 4ohm speakers at all....just connect the 8ohm to the 8ohm terminals...you dont mention any crossover networks inside the speaker boxes or if you have tweeter speakers... so just stick to the basics above at present....
