Question about Logitech Webcam
I've bouth a logitech quickcam communicate STX. When I intalled it at the first it worked fine.I formerly used windows xp software and then someday I decided to change my software into windows vista ultimate. After then everytime i started to open my computer it always appear on screen that the windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device. The extended attributes are inconsistent. Found new hardware - unknown device. I don't understand this warning everytime I started to on my computer while my logitech cam worked properly and no problems actually. why it always warn me?

The microphone may not work because of a hardware or configuration
problem. To determine if it's a hardware problem, test the microphone
in Sound Recorder.
If you can record sound in Sound Recorder, but not in the QuickCam application, try setting the Logitech Microphone as the Preferred device in Audio Properties.
