My Motorola V325 volume rocker switch "up" button suddenly became difficult to depress and now the whole switch, whether I press "up" or "down," only performs the "down" function. So now my cell phone is stuck in the All Off position and I can't get it to change. Any ideas on what to do?
Throw it against a wall.
Haha just joking. Not sure, sounds like you should take it to get it looked at, something must be out of place in, like scooted too far up so when you press up it reads as down and down it reads as nothing. So just get it looked at is my suggestion, they can always fix it. Sorry, hope this helped.

On the left side of the phone are two button: A rocker button and a push button. With the flip CLOSED, push the rocker button down. you will see Style:Silent. Push the other button until Style:Loud comes up. Push the rocker button down again to exit the function. Open the Flip and use the rocker button to set the Ringer volume. You can set the ringer volume however you want for each style. My phone swiches by itself constantly when I put it in my jeans pocket, very annoying.
If you can get that particular phone unlocked from verizon's service. Have a look on some of the mobile phone forums on the net, or have a look here: http://www.globalunlock.com/index.htm They say they can unlock your phone, but if you decide to use them enquire first.
