Go to safe mode. Delete your keyboard and mouse from device manager.

Windows should redetect both on boot and use the generic drivers. Hopefully that will get you to where you can use them again in regular windows mode.

Wierd problem...never seen that one before. Good luck

My Lenovo mouse won't work. It connects and registers but won't move? Is there any help?

Hello,

Try booting to safe mode and check if your mouse works inside safe mode.

Restart the computer and tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight either safe mode or safe mode with networking. Hit enter.

Once you are inside safe mode, check if your mouse works. If it works, then you just need to update the mouse driver. You can use RadarSync to search and install the update into your computer. You better use Safe Mode with Networking because RadarSync needs the internet or even the manual updating process needs an internet connection.

I hope this helps!

No mouse for my echines

The best option it to purchase or borrow another mouse. I'm sure a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker has a spare mouse.

You could try booting into Safe Mode and see if it will go to your desktop without a mouse. If so you'll have to use the keyboard shortcuts to get around.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity) and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal.

See if the mouse works in Safe Mode. You mouse or keyboard may have been hijacked.

Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.Check your mouse properties in the Control Panel. Click Start/Control Panel then look for mouse. You can set the mouse back to default settings.

Check to make sure you have not locked the mouse on the keypad. On some systems there will be a button at the top in the middle of the keypad, just press it to toggle the mouse on or off. Other systems will allow you to toggle the mouse on or off by keystrokes such as pressing and holding the ALT, FN or CTRL key then hit the key that controls the mouse keypad. The correct key will sometimes have a finger pointing into a square which represents the keypad.

Keyboard is locked? No keys work or are you saying the Mouse and Touchpad is locked?

Keyboard won't connect with computer

make sure the battery is good ((has full charge))also you make sure the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable) or if its a lead
make sure the lead from the mouse has a secure seating and the lead is not bad/faulty
make sure the keyboard lead is good with a secure seating
((if applicable)) if this fails to fix the problem you could try it in safe mode

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to mice and other pointing devices you might see a yellow exclamation mark ! or question mark ? or a red x right click to update driver
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the driver could be on it
Click start control panel keyboard you can change your settings there
click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboard you could see a yellow/question exclamation mark? ! or a red X right click to install drivers

How can I unlock the keyboard and mouse on a acer aspire 300

Try starting the computer in safe mode by pressing the F8 key repeatedly on boot. The start up menu will appear. Chosse safe mode and run an antivirus and antispyware program in safe mode. Your system is freezing and that is why your keyboard is not working. You should find that the keyboard and mouse will work properly while you are in safe mode. I suspect that something is stealing your available resources when you start in regular mode.
