Question about Panasonic sa-ht800V Home Theater Audio System SA-HT800V System
I love my home theatre system when it worked and need to get it repaired,but cant find anyone who knows much about them,any way ,i turn my system on and it works fine for about 5 min,then it justs shuts off,im thinking something is heating up forcing it to shut off ,I really dont know,want to keep this but need to get it fixed so i can i can hear them awesome sounds once again,,,thanks
Hi the problem your having could be one of a couple of things the first to check is that all the speaker wires a fitted correctly and not come out of socket as a speaker wire shorting could give you the problem your having.
The second and most likely problem is going to be a problem with the amp part of the circuit board usually a blown resistor but in your case as the unit comes on for few minutes then the chances are its just a solder joint failing on the board this causing the unit to trip out as a safety measure to stop it setting on fire.
Check the sub woofer cable is fitted properly as this is the usuall problem with you make and model let me know when you have checked all of this ok
