Question about HP Compaq Business Notebook NX9010
When the machine is turned on (mains power) always automatically shutdown itself after Window XP startup. I tried to open the heatsink but a both of two litlle fan always stop when processing --> is it normal ?
Then I replace hardisk with a new one and start to setup new os XP, but it's still happen again after setup process always automatically shutdown. My question: - is this a hardware or software problem, how do I fix it?
Definitely a software problem, somewhere along the installation process, the data on the CD is being read wrong. Try a different installation disk, and see if this fixes the problem. If not, then it could be that there is either a problem with the CD drive, or the IDE controller for the Hard Drive.
