There are two ways to hook up a dvd/vcr to at tv. 1. Coaxil Cable - From VCR Cable Out To Tv - This goes to the tv cable jack. Tv should be on channel 3 or 4 to use it this way. 2. There are Yellow, Red, White Jacks on the vcr/dvd player. There should be a couple sets actually. One set should say OUTPUT on them. The colored jacks go from the vcr/dvd OUTPUT and goes to the same color jacks on the tv that say INPUT TV must be on an A/V or Input channel for this to work
That is about all there is too it. If you need more info, just let me know. I am more than happy to help.
dont know how many times ive said this but GET AN OLDER TV it saves all that time you use trying to hook it up to a new one..it doesnt even have to be that old just not a plasma or HD tv, its much MUCH easyer and saves lots of time, and mabie even money
You need to use the video and audio outs located in the rear of the samsung player, or if you want to use the rf connector(atenna in) on the tv you need to select analog channel 3 or 4 to get a picture through, you can down load an owners manual at wwwretrevo.com.
ok here i go male plug in the tv female plug in the vcr
from you cable box you have 3 cable 1 go tv room tv
two go two you vcr and 3 go to your room tv
you may need to check the input setting on the tv in the menu. It should have a setting like veido 1 or 2 maybe aux i dont know for sure but check and see. Also you can take tne anti out on vcr to anti in on tv put tv on 3 or 4 which ever the vcr is set for then should work that way also.
If you hook up jacks on back for video 1 then turn tv aux to video1, Ask them do they still have owners mannel it tells you how to hook up vcr-dvds stereos
The cable that goes into the TV sould come from the VCR output to TV plug.
The antenna input to the VCR should come from the antenna or DTV converter box.
The signal passes through or loops through the VCR.
If you hve a manual the connections are on pages 14 an 15.
Let me know if there are any problems and a time you might be hooking this up.
first check your receiver if it has inputs for all those gadgets you wanted connected. in your input function selector see if there are options for your dvd, tv, vcr. if it does have all those inputs then just connect all the audio output left/right rca jacks of your gadgets to each input function of your receiver. your VCR though is different, you have to connect the receiver input to vcr output. the vcr record goes to the vcr input connections. your TV, if it has got any audio out then connect to the audio in function of your receiver.
Hi first of all are you using scart leads to plug into each device here is how it should be set up ok 1. Scart lead from dish network into vcr 2. then other scart from vcr into tv 3. Now ti recieve the signal from the dish network you need to have the telly on the right av channel so that its picking up the signal from the vcr. you can test this by changing the channel on the vcr controll or direct via buttons on vcr. If the channels change then your on the right av channel. Now when your on right channel on telly you need to now make sure dish network is on and on a channel or press the tv guide button just so you know what your looking for when the picture comes through. You need to press av on the vcr controll this will then pick up the signal from the dish network via the scart lead as av is the channel for scart lead. say if you was recording from dish net to vcr you would put the vcr on av to pick up the signal so press av on vcr controll this should then allow you to watch the dish network with no problems. Let me know if you still cant and ill assist you further if it dont work tell me what you have done so i know how much you have done ok
