Ipode problem. my ipoed is philips gogear 1 GB ipoed.My ipoed showes conect to pc and chick the drivers.its did noytot open .how to solve these problem.

Are you sure the drivers you're installing is for your iPod model? try searching the specific model CD contents at:

Do you still have the software that came along with it? Install it to your PC then connect your Go Gear to your PC and choose "repair".

Installation of Philips ipod


There is a media convertor software that comes along with the gogear. Have it installed in your PC. Using this convertor , change the media files ffor uploading into the gogearr.
You can open the convertor and the window shows all information. open the media folders in your PC and convert, the upload.

When i connect my gogear philips mp3 player to pc,it deosnt show?


1. When u connect ur mp3 to pc, try option for hidden folders. Enable show hidden folder option from the Tools --> Folder option --> show hidden folders.
2.If u want to delete the only folder, then open My computer. It will show drive with ur mp3 name, format that drive

Philips problem


sir, this problem arrises because of virus or over data in ipod. you need to format the ipod. for this just connect the ipod with a pc. and in the icon of your ipod, right click on it and select format option. this will solve your problem.

No device connected


Try installing the newest version fo the software from the Philips website first.

Enter your model number
On the next page, click on your exact model number without the "B" on the end
On the next page, click on "software and drivers"

If that fails:
Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).
