On my track pad the mouse will move around but will not allow me to click on anything by tap or the two buttons. It will allow me to use a external mouse and I checked the synopsis pointing device and it...

One option available to you is to reinstall the drivers for the track pad, another option is to get a technician to look at the actual buttons on this notebook as the buttons may have failed.
First try the drivers though, they can be found on the CD disk that came with your notebook or on the manufactures website, Toshiba in your case.

Take care!

Toshiba A100 touchpad mouse not moving

Hi,
Many toshibas have the facility to turn the mouse/trackpad on or off. I have seen it on the upper keys in blue text, meaning you need to hold the fn (Function) key down at the same time as the mouse enable/disable key.

I would like to disable the sensor pad and i followed mr fix it guys instructions FN/F9 didn't work and I could not find the disable function in mouse properties

Sometimes the "scratchpad" mouse has a separate icon from the mouse where it can be adjusted or disabled. Check control panel for this.

Hi,

First F8 and choose "last known good configuration".

Second, there is a small button atop the mousepad which turns the mouse on and off; might check that.

Good luck
