Hi my sons phone is showing enter PUK code! can you help or do I have to contact his network/supplier? thankyou

PUK code stands for pin unlock code. It comes when you enter wrong code for your pin code three times. It is a security feature of your sim card to avoid unauthorised access.

When you enable pin code on your sim card, your phone automatically asks for pin no. when switched on. If the pin is entered wrongly 3 times. It locks the sim, and asks for PUK code. The PUK code needs to be obtained from your provider. If you enter PUK wrongly 10 times, your sim card will be permanently blocked and you will need to obtain a new sim card. Hence kindly contact your network for the right puk code.

Lgkg1200 mobile pin code

Your mobile doesn't have and doesn't need a pincode. What reqiures a pin code is your simcard. So if your phone is prompting for a pin code, it means you should enter the sim pin code. Each network carrier has a default pincode. I want 2 assume you never changed it. So you would have to enter the default. Check your original sim starter pack, the pin code is printed on it. If you cant find the pack, ask anyone using your network for your networks default pin code. They have to be sure of the number cos if you wrongly enter it 3 times, the network would block your line and ask for PUK code, which is another issue.
If nobody around knows it or is sure of the actual digits, this is what you do.
Get another sim card but of the same network as yours. Call your customer care and tell them you dont know your pin. They should help you further.
Please let me know if that was helpful.
Have a nice day.

Blocked sim or phone need help

Only the sim is blocked, not the phone. The unblocking code is located on the sim casing when you bought it. It will ask you to enter the code and new PIN code 2 times but will completely block it if the limited number of attempts is reached. You can just simply replace the sim and the phone will work again normally.

3 digit combination

I use a sidekick Lx for At&t that I unlocked myself. When you start up your sidekick it should ask you for a network unlock or ask you to enable your sim card just click the cancel key on the top right of your device. Now click the top left menu button and go into your settings, and go to 'sim center' it'll ask you to enable your sim card again just enter a random 4 digit number and it'll tell you its wrong but thats ok, click ok and just cancel it out :) it'll then show you "disable sim lock" "change sim pin" change your sim pin to a number you'll remember because the way im showing you you'll have to do this every time you restart your phone (my sim pin was by default 1111) you can enter the same pin number for the old sim pin, and new sim pin options. Once you do that a white phone icon should appear on your screen underneath your time and date. Now, go back into your settings and go to network options, scan and select your network manually, and there you go :) Sorry though with all unlocked phones you'll only be able to make calls and text. No picture messaging sadly :( You need a T-mobile sidekick plan for all that :(

Motorola At & t BT60

Hello,

The following answer will not fix you but only put you on the path to having it fixed by ATT. Since it is not a fix and can't be fixed but steers you to a fix, please rate this as fixed or do not bother to rate it at all, thanks.

What you are referring to is the subsidy unlock code.

A "Subsidy Unlock Code" is a code that is unique to your phone. The code is assigned by the original service provider the phone was manufactured for so that it cannot be taken to another carrier for activation without their permission. The business (carrier) that the phone was originally manufactured for is the only one that will have this "block code" or "special code" information. Motorola can not provide this information. You will need to talk to a technical support person at the company for which the phone was sold for assistance. The technical support staff will probably need to know the IMEI number off of the phone, under the battery to assist you.

This is the phone number to call for help on this. Have your battery out so you can provide the IMEI number.

Worldvet
