It could be the drum bearing or the idler pulley is worn out.l

What do we do to address thumping noise in Kenmore Elite HE4 Dryer?

It is probably one of the idler wheels it rotates on. Look for a flat spot and if you didn't replace the drum your self ask for your money back.

I have a kenmore elite 3 dryer, model #110.87872601 that squeaks while running. Is it the drum rollers, idler pulley?

This dryers drum rolls on two or four wheels. As these wheels wear after time they tend to start making noise. You can change or have them changed if they are very loud. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Very loud squeaking noise - like a noisy loose fan belt on a car.

The dryer needs to be rebuilt, new drum belt and drum rollers to cure this problem.

Dryer makes a sound as if there's a marble loose in some rotating part. It doesn't seem to be coming from the drum, because when I disconnect the band from the motor and hand rotated the drum at speed...

Kenmore Dryer 110 is making a loud squeaking noise.

Only a few things will make that noise. The squeaking is caused by a moving part having trouble turning while rubbing against a fixed part.
  1. The idler pulley is worn
  2. The drum support rollers are hard turning on their shafts
  3. The felt seals at the front or back of the drum is worn allowing metal to metal contact while turning
  4. An article has fallen into the housing around the blower wheel and the wheel is rubbing on it.
Listen for the frequency of the sound. The drum rollers and drum felts will squeak at the frequency of the tub turning. The idler pulley turns much faster as does the blower wheel. Knowing this will help pin down the cause.

2 year old Kenmore Elite Front Load Dryer makes loud squeaking

We can fix this. your dryer has some wheels/rollers and an idler pulley they get worn and or plug up with fabric sheet guu.what you do is pop the top, that the frount off and this will expose the drum, undo the belt the clean inspect /oil and replace worn parts.sounds like you wont see much wear because it stops after[gets warm]so may get buy with oil/cleaning Ps unplug before working
