- i already instal windows 2000 servicepack 2 or higher but the OS always didnt loaded... now i instal windows 2000 with no service pack, the system was ok but i cant instal network norton anti virus that other computer installed and microsoft office 2003 ...
Once in the BIOS you could try restoring it to the default settings (an option that you should find along with the other options including exit options). I personally feel that re flashing your BIOS should be an option of Last Resort. I am no authority on Windows 2000 but if I'm off, I'm sure someone who is will provide a better suggestion. Good Luck.
PS: What service pack is Windows 2000 Pro up to now anyway?

My computer was in sleep mode when a kitchen appliance caused the house earth leakage to trip. Result - mother board dead - no LED on, no fan, nothing. Luckily, I had bought a spare board when buying the computer, so in no time had it up and running. A close inspection shows no obvious fault. Question: Is it possible to diagnose the problem with the board removed and if so, can it be repaired so I can still have a spare?
