I have a dsc-w90, with a crack in the LCD screen. The back glass is fine.

I think it is the same as a W80 screen. Anyway, I want to order a screen for my w90. Thanks Nate

You can get a repalcement from eBay relatively $20 to $40 depending on the seller's price. If the external glass is broken you would need the back cover panel as well. To change the LCD you need to unsolder and resolder with the new LCD panel (on one of the connector). Disassembling the camera is fairly easy and the most challenging part for a lay man would be the soldering part. Good luck.

Yes that's what you'll need, and not just the glass cover (if it has one. You will need the LCD screen in addition to other broken parts if any?). You can find parts and used/broken cameras to salvage parts from on online auction and classified sites (using your make and model number to search them). Otherwise you can try to go through Sony to replace the broken parts (probably the most expensive source if they will sell you the parts you need at all). IMHO
Good Luck

Hey lyoungren,
Digital camera repairs often exceed the value of the product, but you could bring the camera to a Geek Squad® precinct at a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out to get an estimate on the replacement of the LCD screen done. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
