I recently dropped my new sony cybershot dsc-w80. and when i turn on the lcd screen its cracked and the colors are warped. does anybody know where i can get an lcd screen replacement for it? is that what i have to do?

- I have a dsc-w90, with a crack in the LCD screen. The back glass is fine.I think it is the same as a W80 screen. Anyway, I want to order a screen for my w90. Thanks Nate

Yes that's what you'll need, and not just the glass cover (if it has one. You will need the LCD screen in addition to other broken parts if any?). You can find parts and used/broken cameras to salvage parts from on online auction and classified sites (using your make and model number to search them). Otherwise you can try to go through Sony to replace the broken parts (probably the most expensive source if they will sell you the parts you need at all). IMHO

I am going to get a replacement screen of the internet. There is somone selling them off ebay. 45 including shipping for the dsc-w5 that also fits my dsc-w70 !
