Question about Toshiba Satellite A65-S1065 Notebook
I am in the process of pulling open my Toshiba Satellite A65 to clean it because of a build up of dust. I have all the screws out but (when flipped upside down) the back right corner isn't lifting and i don't want to break it. Will I ruin anything by pulling it apart?
You'll probably only break/crack the case on the corner that is hanging you up, but it could break more if something is hung up on a component or the MotherBoard itself. I would suggest trying to pry (with a very small flat screw driver) that corner apart carefully by applying pressure between the pieces of the case at and close to the corner in question see if it doesn't pop apart without breaking anything.
You must be positive that all attaching screws have been removed (their locations should be indicated my arrows on the case, you will sometimes find one under a removable cover (such as for RAM, Wireless Card, etc...) or a removable part such as an optical drive, the battery, or even under the keyboard on the top side (check everything again, just to be sure).
