If you hear a buzz noise coming from the back when you press the pad for water it most likely is a bad water valve.
If you hear nothing you have a bad micro-switch or open solenoid on water valve(again bad water valve)
To check a few other things, unscrew the tubing on the side that is sending water to the door(dual valve in back) see if water comes out when pressing door pad(need a towel and leave unplugged until ready to test)
If there is water you may have a frozen tube assembly in the lower back of the refrigerator section(coil pack of plastic that chills water) or unhook at the door on the bottom of the freezer being careful not to bend and see if water is there.(have also seen tubes freeze up in door liner. Most common is a bad water valve.......
Replace the water valve on the back

Most likely need to replace the water inlet valve. The water supply line should be directly connected to it. There are 2 valves bracketed together, 1 for the ice maker and 1 for the water dispencer. You will probably have to buy both valves, but want to do this anyway as the second valve will fail soon. Hope this helps.
