I have connected Creative T6060 to my Philips dvd player. I got 2-1 connector, which will allow me to connect 2 pins to dvd player (Front left, front right) and the singe point at other end to the Front hole to speaker and so on. But I am not able to get sound on Rear and Center Speaker.
Please help.

Hi Guys,
I am teh person who started this thread and I am happy to find the solution. The problem is not with Speaker but it is with DVD player. Infact it is not a problem, it is the setting which needs to be changed.
Go to the Setup menu and change the Speaker settings and set it to MultiChannel. This will give you sound to rear and center whenever it has to.
Hope this helps as it has to me.

Hi . To b frank with u, that model has not been designed for DVD players; more precise to be played as home theatre. This set needs to be fix on PC only and not on DVD players. U want good quality sound for your home system, then go and buy an ALTEC LANSING spkers but only a 2.1 series.. U need more help, then contact me on 'laxman25@programmer.net'
1. Get 2 nos. 2 - 1 converters from market 2. in first converter put any 2 pins 3. in second converter put remaining pin and output from first converter 4 use output of second converter as input in your dvd player

I have a pair of Mordaunt Short Festival Series 2 loudspeakers - which I still like! Unfortunately the tweeter has stopped working on one of the speakers. Is it possible to repair/replace the unit? and is it worthwhile? Cheers Paul

Hi, I just get an Altec pt8051. It seems fine, but the remote control seems not working. When being pressed, it's status light becomes red, however, it cannot even control PT8051 itself.
