Menu issues with JXD 661

Hello,

I have a JXD 661 that does not recognise any downloads via the USB port on the Audio Player Menu. Although when I connect it again to the computer, the computer recognises the files and plays them.

Can you please offer any solutions.

Thank You

Philip Kelleher

    Hiya,

Thanks for the reply, I do have a 2GB SD card (and it even recognises a 4GB SD card), but yet no matter how I have moved around the files (which I am not entirely competent at) the files can be recognised and read only by the computer when I re-connect the player to the computer with the USB cable. Everything else seems to work fine on this device, the camera, video cam, etc. I just do not know how to place the files exactly in the right place for them to be read on the 'Audio Menu'.

When I connect the device to the computer, it recognises and I can open both the information on the internal memory (flash card), and the SD card. Yet , after numerous hours trying every possibility I could, I have given up . I like this little device, and I do not want to throw it away, or get a new one. So, if yourself or anyone can offer any advice on rectifying this problem, I will be eternally grateful.

    Many Thanks

    ~ IAMPhilip

Jxd Pmp 661 does not support folder system.Yo have to make a folder named "AUDIO" place the mp3,ogg,wma,aac songs in that folder & then it will play fine.

This is the solution man just put only mp3 files into the audio folder in your removeable disc make it clear that you are not putting whole folder into it but only you have to put mp3 files int that folder and i hope it will work for you!!!!!!!

THE DEVICE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE FOLDERS.PLACE THE FILES IN THE AUDIO FOLDER AND THEY SHOULD WORK JUST FINE.

When u connect the PMP 661 to PC it is shown as rempveable disc. Double clicking it shows three folder namely 100 Media, MP3 and Text. Copy MP3 files in the folder named MP3. PMP will play these files in audio menu.

I think there should be a major problem in your jxd player. You should go to the manufacturer or seller with your jxd player. They can replace your jxd player or repair it without any cost if your player still have guarantee or warrantee.

I had jxd in it songs are not playing i copied songs in jxd in audio file songs r appearing in jxd but not playing i pressed play button "file type error" coming why

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files
