Question about Dryers
Both my washer and dryer are doing the same thing. They both have power and the display panels work, but when I push start they make an annoying noise (like a monotone buzzer) and do nothing. It's like they are trying go, but are stuck and I've noticed a burning smell.
Both machines have the same power source (one plug), so I tried unplugging it for a few minutes w/no luck.
Have the plug checked.......kill power to it for now. Try the washer in a different circuit. It sounds like the circuit feeding the machines is damaged and is carrying enough voltage to handle the displays but cannot carry enough amperage to run them. Any time you smell burning around electrical equipment, it's a good idea to shut off the power to the equipment
