KV-35V75 Sony 1996 Televisions set (sound problem)
We recently disconnected our satellite from our sony television set and moved it to my parents. The Tv was hooked up to cable and there picture was great, but no sound. We looked in the menu/set up of the TV and their is no problem with the speakers. We thought maybe they were turned off. The TV was not damaged in any way and was working great about 1 week ago. What could have happened? We now are going to call a technician to come out and look at the TV, it is way too heavy to move around.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Yeh Right! Why not ask your parents. Passwords are there to keep you out and if your parents set it then get them to unset it for you Don't involve us in your attempts to subvert your parents authority

I have not known of any Sony tube TV thay was attached to the stand in any way with exception of they had a cloth strap in the center in the back at the bottom of the TV that buckled into a pocket on the back of the TV, but nothing in the front, usually the TV just lifted straight up or slid back about 3 inches then lifted up, that is all I remember on that other than the TV is very heavy and maybe it is just stuck from being on the stand for a long time. Good luck!
I have had my Sony KV-32FV15 for about 2 years now and nothing has ever gone wrong(even going through several moves.) I recently moved again and when I plugged in the TV, you can hear the sound perfectly but the screen just stays black. You can not even hear the squeal that the TV makes when comming on. Is there anything that I should initially look at to troubleshoot. I cannot afford at this time the $250 fee to repair my TV. I look forward to your input and hopefully I can get this TV working again.
