Just as a matter of interest see what happens when you test your webcam here - hit "allow" in top window and see if your webcam fires up in the left hand window http://www.testmycam.com/
This is a long shot but may be worth a try. There is no Vista driver I could find - you can try to run it in compatibility mode whichever your old system was
Don't run the program but save it.
Browse to that directory, right click on setup, properties,
compatibility, set it to your choice or xp sp2 compat. close the properties. Install.
ive had a veo stingray for years
and always seem to work good
however, im not sure if this will work with vista
but try this link and select the bottom one
for the 301
Veo stingray 330 is not Vista compatible, it will work fine on Windows XP.
Here the drivers download page, there is no driver for Vista, but at least you can use the camera on a different system with XP, in case you want to sell it or give it to a friend.
My Veo Stingray works with Vista Ultimate just fine.
How I did mine:
Search for and find on the net (like I did once upon a time) a file named:
"veo_330V_v002"
Install it- Mine wouldnt finish install (95%) because of ".DLL load failer"
Once rebooted- when the system tried to install driver auto. I just browsed to the "c:\program files\veo stingray\drivers folder (created) and it installed and works now.
