Water pumps in & out ok. Nothing happens between those 2 phases.

  • Anonymous Feb 13, 2010

    Once filled, I tested the temperature of the water pooled in the bottom with my hand, and it is not as hot as the hot water from the tap.

  • Anonymous Feb 15, 2010

    Water is pumped in. The timer keeps going. Then, as the time remaining approaches zero, it pumps the water out. In between those two operations, water is not sprayed on the dishes. During that middle phase the timer keeps counting down digitally, no knob. The cycles are set by pushbuttons.

Check the lid safety switch,if its open circuited it wont let the machine operate on most cycles,its the little tab that the door pushes on when closed,you need to remove the top to bypass it,then if it starts,just replace the switch

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:
Water-heating cycle
Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next depends, as follows:

On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

Timer
Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

If the water is heated that means that the programmer is functional so the only thing left is the engine and its controls. Take it out, remove the back panel and access the motor. Put the machine thru a cycle and test if power is coming to the motor - with a voltmeter. If none is coming disconnect the motor and connect in its place an incandescent bulb  - if it lights then the motor is dead. If not, test the wires. If the wires are ok the there's something in the controller - it must be replaced.

  • Azrael SRL Feb 14, 2010

    Select a program that heat the water a lot - on my machine there's a linen one with 90C, it should heat the water almost to boiling point.

    Or disconnect the warm water intake - that would force the machine to heat the cold tap water.
    If the water isn't heated the programmer is completely busted, it must be replaced. If you don't have at least basic knowledge about electronics then it's a job for a professional.

  • Azrael SRL Feb 15, 2010

    Yes, the programmer is an electronic circuit, it doesn't have a knob. If you want to be absolutely sure that the programmer is busted just put a voltmeter on the engine with the machine working - it should show something if the programmer is operational.

What is the standard starting amps for 1.5kw 3 phase grundfos booster pump, how can i know that 13amps for starting pump reading is normal?

three phase
three phase power = 1.5Kw
single phase = 1.5KW/3
500w
kw = 500w/.86 (.86 is power factor)
kva = 581.39 watts
current = kva / voltage
voltage = ? 120 v at guess
current = 581.39 / 120
current one phase = 4.84 amp
three phase = 4.84 x 3
14.53 amps
http://myelectrical.com/notes/entryid/8/three-phase-power-simple-calculations
240v would come out as 7.26 amps

Why my AEG F55080vi stops after drain cycle (program beginning) and then it stops and I hear 2 beeps and 2 flash continuously?

Definitely, water drain time-out. Error code i20.
The pressure switch doesn't return to EMPTY (1-2) after two drain phases lasting 120 seconds.
Possible causes:
Drain circuit obstructed/blocked; drain pump
interrupted or jammed (foreign bodies); level
pressure switch blocked on FULL (1-3); hydraulic
circuit of pressure switch obstructed; wiring faulty;
circuit board faulty.

Thanks to your detailed description of failure I conclude that in drain phase (after starts drain pump) leaks water and causing a short circuit. I would thoroughly reviewed drain hydraulic circuit. If is alarm displayed and there is no water inside dishwasher then check heater and anti-interference suppressor.

How do I reverse a three phase electric motor?

Reversing rotation of 3 phase motors:
CAUTION: Before attempting any repair of electrical equipment verify the power is disconnected to the device.
CAUTION: Three phase motors could potentially be controlled by frequency control systems. It is recommended a trained electrician perform repairs to any electrical system. In particular, consult a trained electrician if the system includes a frequency control system.

Most 3 phase motors can reverse rotation simply by swapping any 2 of the 3 phase wires. A typical 3 phase wiring circuit will include a safety ground wire (usually green) and 3 phase wires, often designated A/B/C, or 1/2/3, or color coded to distinguish each. By swapping the terminal connection of any 2 of the three phase wires, for example, 1 & 2 or 2 & 3 or 1 & 3, but leaving the third phase wire unchanged will reverse the rotation of most motors.

12. (00001100) Phase 1 to 6 - Flood Protection Error
The Motor Controller module has found the water level to be above the flood level
and tried to pump the excess water out. (Under extremely high flow rate conditions
the machine may overfill during the "top-up" routine in agitate.) After pumping for
30 seconds, it has been unable to lower the water level below the flood level. Either
the water valves have stuck on and are letting water in at a flow rate that is higher
than the pump can handle, or the pump is blocked and can't remove the excess
water.
Primary Source: Water Valves.
Action:
If the water valves are on continuously, check that the water valves turn off
mechanically (remove power from machine).
Secondary Source: .Pump system
Action:
Check pump for blockage and drain hose for correct height and kinking
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module. (Display Module Phase 1)
Action:
If water valves are being driven on electrically, replace Motor Controller
module. (Display Module Phase 1)

How to connect the 3 phase power supply to a 3 phase synchronous motor with control panel

I assume you have 3 phase power where this is going? The panel has 3 legs, 2 are 110 volt and one is 208 volt, you will need a tester to find out which is which if it is not marked, the motor should have a map on it for the wires to attach to, they go the same way, two, 110 and one, 208, I hope this helps, There will be one wire for a ground or a solid wire separate from the unit.

The machine Steams ok, But no coffee or hot water comes out! I turn on the coffee switch, the maker busses, but nothing comes out!

I had this same problem with mine and was able to get it fixed. Here's what I did: There is a water pump that can get stuck from not being used for a while, especially if you have hard water.
Unplung from power & allow the machine to cool completely. I carefully took the machine apart and follow the tubing to locate the pump (mine was about 2-1/2" to 3" long X 1/2" diameter. Remove the pump, disassemble it and carefully clean all the parts. You will probably find 2 parts that are stuck together (I found a plunger & check ball that were stuck from water drying out in it).
