My xenon monitor just stop working the power button I used to press it a few times in order to tuned on but now it complitely stop working iopen the monitor but everything seems to look ok inside do u have...

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

I tried turning on my monitor and it wouldn't turn on. I checked the power cord and everything was connected correctly. Any Idea;s?

The first step is to make sure the plug you have the power cord plugged into is supplying power to the monitor. [surge protector? Check the switch or the reset button]. Check for the powered on light, usually in the power on button on many computer monitors. Yellow usually means a bad connection with the computer. So the monitor is actually on, it just appears off because you have a black screen. Check the video cable linkage to the back of the monitor and the computer's graphics card or digital video out.

If when you "power on" the monitor's on light does not light it means that power is not getting to the unit and you could have a bad power cord. If it is of the universal type that unplugs from the unit you can swap out for a new cord to test this [some monitors have external power supplies as part of the cord and this could be the problem]. If swapping it for another works than that was your problem.

Many monitors though have their power cords mounted via chassis clamps to the unit and have internal power supplies and are not end user serviceable.

If power is making it to the unit there are a handful of possibilities. Unfortunately the majority of them, at that point, involve dis-assembly of the unit's outer casing and is not advisable to an untrained end user. A service call would be required at that point.

HP 6310 needs to reset power. Tried turning off

it may be the power supply itself! have any of you tried using a different power cord? the problem may not be in the printer but in the cord itself. i have 2 hp 6310's that were giving me the 'reset power' error. when i changed the POWER CORD, that error message went away and it went into the insert cartridges mode. good luck.

I have starlogic 17' monitor it just stopped working no power at all no lights ,,,nothing

Check the power cord, make sure it is firmly connected to the mains outlet and in the monitor. The power cord maybe faulty. try a different power cord,
If this doesn't work then the fault is in the monitor, most likely the power supply circuit.
I don't know this make and model, but it may have a blown fuse. If you are not an electronic savy person, I would advise you NOT to try to fix this problem, as there dangerous voltages in the monitor.
The cost of a repair maybe too high, I suggest you put your money towards a new LCD monitor.

Hp cpus power supply green light constantly blinking

As always verify all cords are plugged in properly. After that it sounds like you power supply went out. It is not that hard to replace. Make sure you unplug power cord. After you remove the pc cover, Usually you just need to unscrew 4 screws for the power supply. Somewhere on the power supply it should say how much watts it is. Anywhere from 200 watts and up. Just replace with exact wattage.

Need one 12v 2500mah power cord for flat screen monitor xenon is the brand name and is prob kinda old cheap if possible

I had a similar problem. Here is what I did:

I went to the computer store and I did purchased a generic Laptop power supply that provides 13 Volts @ 2Ah. y display was working fine with it.

You may be able to take the display information (Voltage, amperage, connector size, positive and negative information) and get assistance from a computer store (maybe radio shack, circuit cit... oops, they closed stores, never mind that one. Best buy or any electronic store in your area).

If that doesn't work or you can't get a similar power supply, you can check in e-bay and get one similar like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/12V-DC-Power-Supply-4-Amp-12-Volt-Adapter-LCD-CB-4A-HP_W0QQitemZ380155972539QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item58830fcbbb&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

but you need to be sure about the positive and negative connector.

Good luck.

How to know if the monitor is totally dead?

Generally, if the power light (LED) doesn't come on and there is no screen display with or without input signal, it's dead. Probably a failed power supply.

Monitor Problem

First check the power switch with a multimeter,if its correct then check the power supply part of the monitor circuit. If you are having any problem with that part change the FET with another.
