Question about Sony Xplod CD Player w/MP3 Playback CDX-GT50W
One CD got stuck in my car CD player(CD Player: CY620,Nissan Sentra-2004 1.8S ). I even tried with a tweeser but it is not coming out.
Can you please help me resolving the issue
I have the same issue and HARDLY ever use the CD on my Sentra 2005 and since is out of warranty I will need to pay for it.
What I really recommend, contact the CORPORATE OFFICE at: http://www.nissanusa.com/apps/contactus and explain to them your situation.
I am VERY frustrated because if I was the only one "OKAY" is understandable, but I've been reading multiple forums and MANY people has the same problem so that means that the product was defective or had issues since the beginning.
If they get complains from different people, I am sure they will listen to us.

I took mine apart and found a plastic clamp that was broken. I used super glue to repair it and it works just fine now. The part is not very easy to find but it is part at the end of the gear mechanism that ejects the CD. My car is a 2004 Sentra.

R4speed. Thank you. You hit the nail on the head!. take out the stereo from the car. take off the cover. unscrew small screws which hold the similar shaped steel box inside the stereo, which houses the gears. see the clear plastic cover over the gears. unscrew the screw which holds this cover down. see the broken off edge of the cover which comes off along with the screw. use super glue to glue this bit of small plastic back onto the edge of the gear cover. when dry and glue has set, screw cover back down, and reverse of disassembly. yeaaa for r4speed!!!!

Hi does the unit make any noise? ie clicking or wurring noise?
i am sure that this will have a clarion unit inside, there is a plastic holder that a gear sits in that breaks. you can only get a mech from clarion tho. no other parts are supplied - www.carradiospares.co.uk may be able to help.
