Question about Dell Latitude C600 Notebook
I just recieved a Dell Latitude C600 laptop. I have no experience with laptops at all. I have a desktop computer with cable internet access. I have not been able to connect my laptop to the internet. What do I need to do?
1. You can disconnect the Rj45 cable from the PC & connect
it directly to your notebook's Rj45 port. You should have access to the internet if a minute or two.
2. if you want access to both, Pc & notebook you'll need a wireless router. Like the link below. Click it.
You can find these types of wireless routers at places like Wallmart & Best Buy. They come in even smaller packages.
With the software that is included you'll be connected to the internet in no time. Linksys also provides security so someone near to your home can not tap your internet service & get a free ride. Linksys provides setup assistance from day one.
Hope this helps you Linda!
