Wireless mouse not picking up

My Fellowes Wireless mouse just stopped working. It is a part of a mouse keyboard combo with one USB receiver. The mouse has new batteries, and lights up, but does not seem to be picked up by the receiver. For a day or so, it would work if you hit the reset button on the receiver, but now, nothing at all. The keyboard continues to work fine, any thoughts?

I also have the same problem. The keyboard works great, but the mouse only responds for around 8 seconds after pushing the reset on the usb receiver. Then the mouse stops working. The mouse's optical laser is still working (red glow), but it just looses connection. Please HELP!

I have the same problem. The mouse just stopped working although the keyboard continues to work. Lights are on in the mouse but it's not connecting. I have also inserted new batteries.

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Usb receiver broke on my kensington pilotboard desktop set, any ideas

You can contact Kensington's customer service and see whether they will ship you a replacement. As an alternative, you could buy another Kensington Wireless Pilot Board mouse and use its receiver. As a third alternative, you could buy another Kensington wireless mouse or keyboard and see whether the receiver for that will pick up the Pilot Board keyboard. Finally, you could buy another wireless mouse or keyboard (not Bluetooth) and see whether its receiver will pick up the Pilot Board.

the problem is that most Wireless Keyboard and Mice combos use Composite USB, the KVM however is expecting one signal on each entry port (one for mouse, and one for Keyboard).

replace yoru wireless Combo for a standard Keyboard and Mouse to make this work.

A work around would be using a MS Wireless Mouse and a different brand of Wireless Keyboard using both Wireless receivers and plug them into different ports on the KVM

KEYBOARD DOES NOT WORK BUT MOUSE DOES

Check the bottom of the mouse for a small button which will allow you to put the mouse into a synchronization mode. The receiver will have a similar button. Press both and move the mouse around a little until the receiver stops blinking, indicating that the mouse is now synchronized with the receiver.

I have a Dell Inspiron ONE Desktop. My wireless mouse is working properly. However, my wireless keyboard is not functioning at all.

First, make sure that all of your batteries are good and working in all your wireless devices. I am assuming that this is a wireless mouse and keyboard combo. You may have to hook up a corded keyboard at first. Is this a usb wireless device or ps2 (round kind)? Once you have made sure that all your batteries are in good condition, plug all devices in before you start your computer. and be sure that they are in a good distance from the receiver. wait till your operating system has loaded and is either at the desktop or sign in with password window. Hold down the button on the receiver and keep it pressed down while you press the connect button on the keyboard then the mouse. Do not let go of the receiver button till you have connected both devices. Did this work? If keyboard still does not work, with the corded keyboard plugged in, first make sure you have all the software for your brand of keyboard and mouse combo. Once that is done, install it. Go to control panel..keyboard or if the software takes you to a set up area. Follow their prompts. This should work.

Hi . .. I want to use this KVM switch to connect

The GCS632U has keyboard and mouse emulation that may not work with all wireless combos. If your wireless combo is going to work the single USB connection would need to go into the keyboard port as that is the only port that will recognize the hot key switching commands. If the wireless combo still has problems then try using a USB wired keyboard to ensure the GCS632U is working correctly.

Keyboard not responding

The keyboard has probably died. (It happens often). Here's a great inexpensive combo to replace your current one. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse/dp/B00BP5KOPA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491364851&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard; mouse not detected

I bought the same combo from a parts house. The guy told me the mouse didn't work but didn't know why. I had the same problem. When I inspected the mouse closely, I found that the connect button on the bottom of the mouse had stuck underneath the housing...basically in the "connect position". When I freed it, the mouse worked and still works just fine. Hope this helps
