Question about SMC Barricade g SMC2804WBRP-G Wireless Router
I have a desktop and laptop connected to an SMC8014W-G. After being online this morning with no problems, the laptop can no longer find my wireless signal. Although my desktop (which is connected to the router with an ethernet cable) connects without a problem the wireless connection is gone. I am getting a message that the network cable is unplugged approximately every 5 seconds. In my network connections window the network status goes from "connected" to "network cable unplugged" every 5 seconds. I've checked and re-checked the cable, I've power cycled the router, I've restarted both the computers. The WLAN led and the LAN port led also go out every 5 seconds and then turn back on. I'm not very knowlegdable with this stuff so I've now tried everything I can think of.
Have you tried MAC filtering to remedy your problem?
