Can you show me how to disable bios password on acer travelmate 2350

The BIOS password is a hefty security measure, and consequently, is difficult and in some cases impossible to disable if you do not already know the password that was set. Dell offers a recovery service if you can prove purchase. Acer does not provide any kind of easy solution, but most use a BIOS developed by Phoenix, and you might (and thats a big might) be able to recover the BIOS (a.k.a. wipe the original, which requires a password, and replace it with a 'fresh' one). If you are interested in this endeavor, I came across a handy tutorial if you want to try it out. http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/326954-case-you-kill-your-phoenix-bios-bios-recovery-methods.html

Upgrade phoenix bios 4.0

Go to the website of the company who makes your laptop or desktop. The majority of these sites have a portion of their site they devote to updates. Look in this section to locate your BIOS updates. When you find the file you need, download the BIOS to your computer's hard drive.
Go to Biosman to download and install the Phoenix BIOS flash utility software. This software allows you to read the data your BIOS file contains.
Flash your BIOS via USB storage device. Copy your update to the USB drive. Then, modify the boot order of your laptop or desktop to begin with your USB drive. Push "F2" or whichever key prompts you to enter your BIOS when you reboot your system.
Double-click the BIOS file you just downloaded to run the upgrade procedure.

Clevo d900t over he\ating shut down

This model motherboard is notorious for heat issues as stated before raise on cooling pad BUT to me it sounds more like they did not use AC5 Arctic Silver correctly on the CPU heat sink....you might want to check it out and also check the video card heat sink too. Also make sure you get the latest Bios update that enables the fans to run full speed all the time using Fn+F2. And also always check all the fan covers and clean excess dust from the fan grills
