Oven pilot light lights stays lit but oven burner will not ignite??? help me please
Hi, most RV ovens do not have a pilot light, the top burners usually are spark ignition , but the ovens have to light with a match/lighter ! We have one in our RV, and 2 others in our cabins, www.rivercabins.net , and that is the way all 3 work.

it sounds like the oven safety valve is bad, it will reach a point when the pilot will make enough energy to keep itself lit, but not enough to open the gas valve to light. it will need to be replaced. if you are handy you can do this, but make sure you shut off the gas to the range first. you should be able to find a replacement online, if not check with a local LP gas company that sells parts to the public.
