Speaker Issues Tv Works fine, but their are snapping sounds coming out of the speakers at random times. Difficult to explain the sound. Any Ideas how to correct the problem? I must say it is a very annoying sound. Would playing video games on the Tv have an effect? Would be greatful for any information.

Likely that the output coupling capacitors are going or the amplifier chip is.
normally the popping sound will be from one speaker but the mixer may share the sound.
best to turn it off and use external speakers hooked up to your equipment. or start troubleshooting the circuit. turn on mute and see if that stops the issue,
or connect ext speakers to the aux out and see if they pop too. if so then the issue is with the amp not the outputs.
be certain that all is grounded well and remove any spike protection ac strips.

I've had my phone for about 15 months. It still works people can ring me and I can call out. However, I have totally lost sound. The keypad sounds and ringtone do not work and I can not hear anyone on...

Its internal speaker (not the earpiece speaker) is dead. I dropped a phone handset of mine and the little speaker snapped off of the circuit board internally.

You don't say if the unit (model ???) has a base station or is wireless. My base station would still ring.

No sound out of right main when watching DVR/TV or VHS

When watching TV or VHS the sound should be stereo and therefor come out of the the 2 front speakers. I suspect you now have sound out of the left front and the center speaker which indicates you connected the center speaker to the right front speakerterminal and the right front to the center terminal.

Just check if all speakers are connected to the correspondent speakerterminal.

If this is correct and the problem persists, try to connect another speaker to the right front terminal to see of the terminal or speaker is not working properly. If another speaker does work on the same connection, your right speaker might be damaged which might not be heard when listening to 5.1 because of the surround sound.

Light sound

Switch the speakers over just to make certain it's not the amp. If still bad on the good channel, then the crossover (inside) might have developed a fault.

Car speakers turn on and off randomly and make crackling sound?

The answer is: "Yes." If your speaker wiring is such that they all share a common ground wire, and that ground wire is shorting out, it can cause all speakers to go silent when it is grounded (shorted). I would check the wiring, and replace any cracked wiring, and if the wiring looks like the shielding is worn, replace all the speaker wiring. Monster cable is the best, but any heavy copper wiring works fine. I often use 110V. appliance wiring to install car stereos.

If your tv is putting out mono you will only get the center and sub speakers. This can be because the tv is only mono, or the output is set to mono in a menu of the tv. If you have cable or sat run the digital audio out to you receiver; it usually sound better that way anyhow. Set your receiver to Dolby mode for best sound.

Loud and strange noises

The built-in speaker amp or the volume switch may be going bad on you. A quick test is to disconnect the speaker set and replace it with a headphone or another working speaker set. If it behaves normally then the problem is in your original speakers, if not then you may have software driver issues or less likely an issue with the sound card. Let us know what you find out.

"Check Speaker Wire" error on my Yamaha Receiver

found the source of the problem with "Check SP Wires"! to solve it is necessary to check each speaker connected to the device Yamaha on the rear panel (red and black) using the device for determining the number of ohms, which shall not be less than 4 ohms, in large passive speakers experienced in Amfitone AU-027, the result showed that left at 0.45 (7) ohms, and the right-hand column, as such, no.
The successful test ... and good music!
