I have bought compatible ink cartridges which I am assured has the latest chip which will work in my latest type printer epson stylus c110. I have disabled status monitor. but the red empty light on the printer won't go out.
I am at a loss as to what to do next. can you help??????????????????

- thanks Mike, I have already tried what you say, but the printer doesn't recognise the compatible cartridges,when I put the empty original cartridges in, it tells me they are empty, I can't find a reset tool for the very latest printer,can you or anybody tell me where to get one ??Solution #1

Hi,
You need a chip-resetting tool.
Or use the printers software utilitie changing ink cartridge, some printers insist that you go into your printer software/program. to inform or communicate with the printer, that you are changing a Cartridge. then the printer, will move the printhead to the desired position, to remove the cartridge.
When the new cartridge is installed, the printer is set to look for new changes. make sure you,ve inserted the cartridge fully into it,s slot ( holder ) push until you get a slight click.
If you,ve disabled Status monitor, then your printer cannot output the Cartridge Status. ( empty-Full )

And a chip reset Tool for This Printer. You,ll have to search the Web. All i can further Suggest is to go for Cartridge ressetting Tools, Or Possible CIS ( Continuous Ink Systems )
