Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Video toubles i got a video on there but the sound and the video are off by 5 seconds or so, but when i preview the video one the computer (when the player is connected to the computer) then it works fin. how can i make it so the sound matches the video?

This is a writing error in the piece of video. These are most prominant when downloading from third party sources. There is no way to correct the problem it is just a bad file. Most computers can compinsate for this problem, but the Sansa 250 does not have the technology to do so.

Sounds like you have preview or sample mode turned on. Check settings for this.

sounds like you have your player set to Preview mode. there should be an option in settings to turn this off.

I would like to get a record vido off the mp3 to my computer what do i need to do to take the record off the mp3 to my comupter

STEP 1 - Download and install Sansa Media Converter
The Sansa Media Converter application is available via the Sansa Firmware Updater. (

STEP 2 - Convert and transfer your video or image files

1. Run the Sansa Media Converter.
2. Connect the Sansa player to the PC.
3. If a Portable Device windows appears, select Sansa Media Converter using Sansa Media Converter.

4. The Sansa player should appear on the left pane of the Sansa Media Converter console.
5. Click Add Media to add video or photo files to be converted and transferred.
(In the sample below we imported an image and a video file)
6. The converted files are stored in My Album by default. To place them in a different folder, select My Album then type in a new name.

7. Depending on what Sansa player that's plugged in or if a microSD is present in the Sansa player, click on the Sansa player or the microSD card on the left pane to select where to transfer the converted files. (in the sample below, we selected the microSD card)
8. Click Convert to covert the files.
9. Once the files are converted it's automatically transferred to the device or microSD.
10. Click OK when finished.

Wont play full songs

Find the reset button on the player, you can locate it with the help of the user manual, or if you specify the model I could help you find it. Press it and hold it down for ten seconds, you may need a pin or something to do this. Then power up the unit and play.

Rotate Video 90 degrees

use VirtualDub... open your video, in the menu Video... Filters... click on Add, select the filter : rotate2, on the Rotation Angle, write : 270, you can test the angle with the preview button. You can alors enter : -90 instead of 270. Check the 'Expand frame to fit'. You can preview all the option, before converting the videos. Click ok...ok until you have the main windows.... Make sure you selected : Full Processing mode in the menu Video.
