Question about Alpine IVA-D310 Car DVD Player
Isn't there a way to bypass the parking brake so my video plays anytime i want isn't there a way to bypass the parking brake so my video plays anytime i want
You need 2 toggle switches . yello/blue wire to switch - switch to ground.
yellow/black wire to switch- switch to red ing. wire. turn this switch on and pulse the other(yellow, blue) 3 times and leave on, then turn the other switch off and then you can ride and watch dvd. just did it this morn. QTRHRS

Why would you have to bypass the parking brake? If you hook the constant wire (red) and the switched wire (yellow/blue or both) to the cigarette lighter fuse you can play the video anytime.Just make sure to turn it off so the battery doesnt drain.

I have the bybass module for the alpine at my stores so no toggle switch or pressing brakes just turn and go email me and get more info.

Hook the yellow and blue wire (park bake +) to your ingnition wire (red wire +) this will allow the deck to think you are in park so it will play as you drive as long as your keys are on the deck will play

To bypass the parking brake you should connect the parking brake wire from the unit to ground. It is better to do it via a switch because is illegal to watch video while you're driving. :)

Hook up your brake wire through a manual switch and switch on and off every time you turn your key on and off. Goodluck.

I think the wire that should go to your hand brake is green, all you need to do to bypass this is hook it to an earth.
