I have this same problem with my 95 k1500 the fuel pump and the dash guages wont work but the starter will turn over is the key starter the most likely reason?

will a faulty ignition also keep your coil from having spark and no power to gauges? Stalling. failure to start. no electrical current to lights in dash. no electrical current to fuel pump

The truck will start and run but the radio, power windows will not work when the truck is running. If you trun it backwards the radio and power windows will work.

Have a 1995 GMC 1500 truck the 50 amp ignition fuse keeps blowing on start -up but the truck starts up and drives just fine any answers to this?

Try disconnecting the starter solenoid control lead and see if it still blows the fuse when no engine crank while switch in start position.

Try disconnecting the alternator and see if symptoms change.

You might also try using a 12V test lamp (or better, a headlamp) in place of the fuse. It may not crank but it allows you to low power circuits without blowing fuses. Observe lamp brightness as you go from run to start. Brightness is relative to current flow.
