today i turned on my xbox and the fan sounded as if it were accelerating and it sounded as if it was not going to stop speeding up and getting louder.. but it did and it is staying steady. Louder than normal. Maybe the sensor is bad...?

Yes, the cooling fans are commonly loud. Your xbox has a sensor on it when the CPU and GPU heat up, the rear fans suck more air out by turning up the rpms the fans run at.

My xbox360 is really loud I don't know what to do

1. If your xbox 360 is in a confined space your not allowing the console to allow fresh air in and the heat out . The reason for your 360 being loud is the fans get louder and louder when the 360 system senses that the gpu heat sink is getting too hot. If you leave your xbox 360 on while you away for too long or if you play for too long the fans will get louder and louder . Solution : move the 360 to an open aired room if the problem persist shut off your xbox 360 and let it cool down a bit .

The two fans are going crazy

Xboxs 360 that were first released when the console was released run very very hot. They are built with less efficient chips

These chips do run hot and the xbox knows it so its running the fans super hot. That is the reason the older consoles are so much louder than the newer xbox 360s.

Just make sure you keep the 360 in a well ventalited place. I know entertainment centers with doors that close are a no no unless the door is open.

Two red rings the fan gets louder and louder then the rings appear and it shuts down

the 2 red rings means that your xbox is overheating, if you have it in a cramped area move it to somewhere in the open where it can breathe, otherwise you may need a new fan or an intercooler to install on the back

Xbox360 Frezzes after i put games in and start playing. Everygame every time

Xbox 360 overheating?
Overheating is unfortunately an extremely common problem. The console's fans whurr so loudly that you'd think it would be fine, but whilst drowning out a lot of the sound from your games you need to ensure that it is in a well ventilated area. Try to make sure that there is nothing surrounding it and that it is not too close to a heat source.

The problem is with a heat sink on the video processor, the heat sink (the cooling unit) that sits above it is too small. This means this chip gets very hot. Heat is not being pulled off the processor by the fans in the back and by the heat sink extension. Even the accessory fans that clip on the back are not enough. A solution if you don’t mind the Xbox all opened up is to open the Xbox to access the DVD ROM (do this only on systems that no longer carry a warranty). The DVD Rom is covering the heat sink. Remove the DVD ROM from its normal location and set aside still connected. Either using CP cooling fans or even a small electric fan point it at the heat sink. The system will no longer freeze.

There are many cause's & solutions to this very problem. if your problem persists please don't hesitate to ask for help again

The reason I suggest this is it is the most common problem for the Xbox360 freezing.

If this fails as well I suggest one last thing.
If you can surf threw your xbox360 console I would suggest going threw the memory of the xbox to see if anything has corrupted, there will be a caution/warning sign letting to know if said/file is corrupted.

Clearing the xbox360 cache afterwards can also help
