TView headrest dvd player

By Sellersbs on Feb 24, 2008

" "
My tView 10.4" headrest DVD player does not turn on. I have connected it to the battery as per the instructions. The package came with 2 headrest monitors, one that actually has the dvd player installed. Neither monitor will turn on. I checked the fuse and the connetions, all were good.

Make sure the 12v power source you are connected to is constantly hot. Then check to make sure your ground is in a good location. You can check this by putting the ground wire over various parts of metal until you get a spark. Then connect the ground in that location. If you have a good power supply, and the buttons on the unit still do not power it up, I would get them replaced or repaired. PS- also check the fuses the units came with. Those might be blown as well.
