Hello.....I have a unit similar to yours...and I never had that ptoblem...These units are cool and I love mine...but the cassette players are generally basic units...When you record are you listening to the music at the same time so that you know what's going on?....Ok....When you start the recording process....and you see the disc is rcording...and the cassette finished playing one side...you PAUSE the cd....Flip the tape....press the Pause again to restart the cd...I've never saw one of these types of uits with auto reverse...you have to flip the tape manualy...if you don't...you will only record half of the music....I hope this was helpful.....PEACE.......
to reset an ipod you flip the hold switch on the back off then hold the middle button and play/pause button at then same time until you see the apple logo. a reset is the only thing you can do besides letting the battery drain. (this happened to me also i suspected a certain song of causing it if it happens again try to recall the song playing) also i would clear the ipods music and re-sync it
Sounds like the player is running in INTRO mode, only playing the first part of each song. To change playback mode, follow the steps as described below.
Switch the player ON and start music playback:
1. Press PLAY button to START music to play
2. Press PLAY button again to PAUSE the playback
3. Press MODE button to enter playback mode selection
4. Scroll with MODE button through selections
5. Press MODE button when selection REPEAT is in the display
6. Use MODE button to select from: Normal, Repeat One, Repeat within current Folder (if any), Repeat Folders (if any), Repeat All songs, Random Play back, and Intro
7. Press MODE button to confirm selection
You mean it hangs up at pause mode and you can't turn off you device? if so, push up/press power button and hold for 10 to 20 seconds until the device turn off.
Then, turn on. if it' working. You should update new firmware.
Good luck
First back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold the play/pause button and turn it on simultaneously. It will then enter recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format and it should work like normal. If it freezes again, then you may need a firmware update.
There is a very small switch on the left side of the Iphone, just above the volume lever. if it is accidentally switched down, it will be put on silent mode. Flip it back up and it should be OK.
You will also notice a bell shaped figure appears when you flip it up. When you flip it down, a line will go through the bell letting you know you have set it to silent mode.
I had this same problem with a cheapie mp3 I bought off of ebay. I read on another site to make sure that your player is not set to 'pause'. On this shuffle it's hard to tell so I pushed the pause/play button just once and then had absolutely no problems in copying music files or listening.
Others have said to flip a write-protected switch from on to off. But as far as I can tell mine had no such switch. Also have heard to format and start all over but I wasn't able to do that either.
So please try to push your pause/play button and try again.
It is stuck on "Repeat One" - refer to p.23 of your user's manual -
You can set your player to play music tracks randomly (Shuffle All ) or repeatedly (Repeat One or
Repeat All ).
1. From the main menu, select Settings > Play mode.
2. Use the VERTICAL TOUCH STRIP to scroll up or down the options.
3. Press § to select an option.
4. Press § again to deselect an option.
While you are playing music you can see the following active play mode screen.
