I had a problem with my washer leaking only part of the time - not from the door, but from the base. There was also a stinky smell after I washed several loads. I couldn't find out where they smell was coming from in my wash room. It wasn't until I started getting the code F 02 that I researched a little further. It ended up that my Drain Pump was clogged - very clogged. When I opened it, it was a horrible smell. So - I solved 3 problems in one: my small leak, bad wash room smell, and F 02 code.
To reach the drain pump, unscrew the lower front panel on your washer. It was a white casing in the middle. Just unscrew & look. I believe in the newer models, they have this available to unscrew directly from the front of the washer. Must've been a common problem.

Rl on the control panel

The "rl" (remove load) error code appears when you are running the "Clean Washericon1.png" cycle. You must not have a load of clothes in the washer during this cycle. Remove the clothes from the drum, and restart the cycle. The "Sud" error indicates that the detergent is over-sudsing. The Duet washer automatically combats this by reducing the amount of suds in the washing machine. Let the washer finish the suds-reduction steps. Use less detergent during the next wash cycle.

Is there a fix for the washer it's chewing my towels

This washer is known to eat some clothes.
I found a great big silk pillow case between tubs once:

Most of the damage is done in the beginning of the cycle directly after the brain has re-destributed the clothes. Any items of clothing with strings need not be washed in this machine or the strings will get into the pump:

My washer is 2 days old. I selected the bulky level to clean a load of towels. The time showed 1 hour and 15 minutes . After 15 minutes, the bell rang and the code f08 and E01 appeared. This also happened...

Pull out the reciept. Read the info that came with it. Call for warranty service OR if possible, return it to store fro exchange or refund. Some appliances cannot be returned to store, therefore read blurb first.

How do i balance a duet model

by sorting your clothes.. do not wash jeans with silky nightys.. wash like weight fabrics together so the unit will balance out, as well as like colors for those anal about clothing appearance.
you could wash pillows in it, just wash 2 so they can balance each other out, not one so it wobbles around badly..
if you are washing mixed loads of clothes it will sometimes get out of balance and cause the noisy, shaking washing actions you have been experiencing.
hope this helps,
best of luck,
ttfn

My 9150 doesn't spin well and my clothes are very wet, when they come out. Then when I try to spin & drain only, it wants to run for 4 hours. Looking at the problems how good of a product did I buy.

from the description you are giving, i would guess that: 1. the "coin-catcher" ahead of the pump is plugged. 2. the tub is overloaded. 3. the loads are heavy, bulky [ blankets, jeans, towels]. when a load is too big or it is all very absorbent materials, the machine tries to balance the load before it goes into a final spin, it will not spin on high if it cannot balance - remember, ten towels or pairs of jeans soaked with water is darned heavy - mix the loads i'm familiar with this machine because i have one, i repair washers and dryers as part of my job, in my opinion, the duet is the best and most reliable washer available

Clothes and towels don't smell fresh after washing

If you are sure that the pump is not blocked then try running the machine on a quick wash on its own with a little bleach in the drawer.

WHIRLPOOL DUET FRONTLOAD WASHER

I had similar problem, the front door seal can trap small items, socks, handtowels. I didnt figure this out for some months, each load of clothes had a foul, mildew smell, Check door seal for trapped clothes, run intermittent cycles with bleach only, no clothes, be sure to leave door open when not in use to air out , this will reduce smell.
