Question about Canon CanoScan 8400F Flatbed Scanner
I installed my Canoscan 8400F like it said. When I came to the step for testing the scanning, it did not show up in the source in any of the photo programs. I tried HP (my computer) support they said contact Canon. I downloaded the driver for Vista there, did not help. I have tried moving the usb connector, turning on &off, turning the computer on & off after uninstalling and reinstalling the software, nothing changes. The test from the control panel says the scanner is working properly. I just can't get it to show up in the programs.
Make sure the scanner is turned on. There is a power switch on the side of this scanner.
