How do I know if someone has read a message I've sent.

After logging into your Facebook account, look near the upper right of the page to find an icon which looks something like a comic strip speech bubble. If someone sent you a message, the the message icon will have a red circle with a which number overlaying it.

My problem has been solved without me doing anything, I could not read the sms or see who is connected to the chat, but after about a week or so, by magic, everything was fixed! This is the second time that happens to me, that's why I recommend you not to do anything better and wait a little, maybe as soon as you see the face becomes crazy then it happens to you;) luck !!

I fear your account may have been hacked by someone you don't even know. Please try to change the password of your account as early as possible for your own safety and watch what happens.

Try this, take the battery out of the phone and leave it out for about 30 seconds, and then repace it and switch the phone on, sometimes this helps i,ve had that problem myself with a previous phone .. hoope this helps mate

Something that you opened has 'read' your contacts list and sent a spam message to them all.

Delete all messages received since it began happening just in case someone you know sent it without realising. Sounds like Malware virus or similar.

scroll down your home page keep clicking on older posts if it was in the last few days you should find it so you can read it.

Check if any setting is enabled, which would display only unread messages.

This means that someone sent you an email and selected the option to have a read receipt. It will send a message back to them notifying them that you read the message.
