Hi,
Go to microsofts website.
You need to download a patch-file. it,s a free download, which you can either burn to a cd. and load into the 360.
or download online connected through xbox live.
i,m pretty sure it,s a small xdm file.
if you struggle doing it, mail me here and i,ll send you 1 through the post.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Need to update but problem

Try a different game disc that is fairly new. This usually solves the problem. (I use Halo 4 install disc) Or you can try loading it from a USB. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/system-updates/system-updates-info has instructions directly from Microsft. If all else fails, call 1-800-4MYXBOX, a rep will guide you through.

When i insert fifa 2012 pirated disc it asked SYSTEM UPDATE. when i click update it started to update.after sometime update stopped and it shows 'SYSTEM UPDATE STOPPED.AND STATUS CODE:--3151-XXXX-XXXX

Probably because its a pirated game, and you are trying to run it off of a modded xbox. Try disabling the mod updating your mod, and 360. Then try playing the game.

I would like to play my original xbox game "Seablade" on my xbox 360...

    • 1 You will need a hard drive for your Xbox 360. Depending on which bundle you bought, you may or may not have one. You can purchase one new at a game store, or most game stores have used ones for $50-$60. Attach the hard drive to the Xbox 360.
    • 2 Now you will need to either update or connect the Xbox to Xbox Live. If you do not have an internet connection you can download the update at this site http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardscompatibility.htm, and burn it to a disc. I will include a link directly under resources at the bottom of the page.
    • 3 Once you download and burn to disc, you can insert the disc into the Xbox and it will automatically update the console. Again, if you can connect the Xbox to Xbox Live you will be able to perform the update that way as well.
    • 4 Once you have the update, you can now play your old Xbox games on your new Xbox 360. Note that some games are not yet compatible with Xbox 360. You can find a list of the games that ARE compatible at this site

My xbox work read copy games or originals

Did you try to flash the X-BOX drive with the j-tag exploit, if yes then it must have not run successfully , if you have not dont do it as it will just ruin your console if you donot know what you are doing. Try using a Cd-Lens cleaner as your DVD-Lens might be dirty and could be a cause. Does the disk spin when it is inserted into the drive ?

Clear your system cacheIf your Xbox 360 console can't play multiple game discs, try clearing your system cache. Here's how:
  1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
  2. Select Memory.
  3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
  4. Select Clear System Cache.

    Collapse this imageExpand this imagesyssettings_deviceopt_clearsyscache.jpg

Note If Clear System Cache is not available, follow the steps in Clearing the System Cache (http://support.xbox.com/en-us/pages/xbox-360/troubleshoot/hardware/clear-system-cache.aspx) .
  5. Try to play a game disc.

Disconnect memory units or USB flash drives
  1. Turn off your console.
  2. Unplug any memory units or USB flash drives attached to your console.
  3. Turn on your console.
  4. Try playing a game.
If all these fail try this

My son saved money and bought a Xbox 360 Arcade. He did not realize that he could not play his xbox games on his new system. Is there an upgrade to allow old xbox games to be played on on the xbox 360

Some game are compatible with the new xbox 360. They are called backwards compatible and you do need to flash upgrade the OS on the new xbox 360 system.

You need to go to the xbox website and go to support and download the flash update then burn it to disk and put it on the xbox to update the software. Again not all old games are compatible with the new xbox system. If your buying used games like I do make sure it says bc next to the title before buying them.
Here is the link to the upgrade

Xbox 360 and gh3

Can you play it on your friend's 360 with your hard drive? You could try going on your xbox's memory and delete all of the updates you have downloaded.
Just go to: my xbox-system settings-memory-highlight your hdd and push the y button-on the screen type x x lb rb x x and a message should pop up asking if you want to perform maintenance on your hard drive. If you select yes it will clear all of the updates you've downloaded. Hopefully it'll work then

Won't read disc's

theres a known problem with the hitashi dvd drive in the xbox 360.
the only solution to this is a home repair job, look up on youtube on how to do this, although this isnt recommended as it voids warranty.
so the best way is definitely just to ring microsoft and send ur console in for repair.
