Question about Computers & Internet
I have a problem keeping a connection to the internet, using a wireless g broadband router. I hook in into a pc using windows vista, and wirelessly to a mac, and everything is fine untill the next day the the pc dont find the router or the internet. Any clue what is wrong? thanks steve
First of all, are you connecting with a PC or a Notebook?
If you have the Linksys router, you should replace the MS utility with the Linksys utility it figures your linksys wireless lan card
There are programs you can use to keep track of your router and connections...One such program is called Port Mapper...
Does your problem happen everday...or every 3 weeks...are you doing anything in particular when you are getting the inability to use the connection?
There is a new Vista patch out there I recommend downloading.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
