MEGXON SX508 digital camera- NO DVD ROM, How can I get it free?

My sister recently gave me her Megxon digital camera (Model SX508). She purchased the camera off of e-bay and it did not come with a DVD ROM to install software for her computer. She told me that she got the software off of the internet from download.com, but I have searched there and found nothing to download to my PC. Also I have searched google as well. Is there anyway I can get this software off of the internet (preferably free) and where can I get it?

Megxon site says

Only in Windows 98 must need to install the driver
in Windows ME, 2000 and XP don't need install.
in Mac O.S. no driver needed.

SOURCE: Camera is froze up

i have been having this problem for a while...the issue is the memory card remove any card you installed for power up and then insert it later, should be fine

So sorry to hear about your relative.

Megxon is not a standard camera brand. It is apparently made by the same company that makes the Praktika Luxmedia cameras. Take a look at the Praktika Luxmedia camera line and see if you can find one that is the same as, or substantially similar to, the Megxon camera you have.

Have you tried to see if standard USB camera cables will work on this camera? There are several "standard" USB plugs often used on digital cameras. See this article on USB at Wikipedia. Take a look at the Micro and Mini plug illustrations and see if you can identify the plug on the camera. If you can identify it as a standard USB plug, then you should be able to purchase a USB cable with the correct end to fit into the camera.
