There are no connectinos for an external antenna on your laptop model sorry.here is a picture of what it looks like though: The connectors at the top for the antenna cables. If you know someone that is an electronics guru, then order another card ( just in case ) for about $15 + shipping, and have him/her connect
those wires to a TMC or SMA connector somehow. Otherwise,.. just buy a good quality USB Wi-Fi adapter with an external antenna. ( which wouldn't cost much more than the spare Toshiba card and less if you figure in what a good dB gain antenna costs)

There are unidirectional external WiFi antennas available based on the original "Cantenna" design. I have seen them with USB and DB9/Com port connectors (some electronic retailers carry them). If you point them at the source of the signal you are trying to increase they work great (I have read reports of connecting to a hotspot over a mile away). There may be other types of external antennas for WiFi that I am not aware of.
Good luck.

CB warning antenna on a cobra 29 lx camo

You may have blown out the output transistor in the CB. Can you still calibrate the swr meter? The K 30 isn't really a very good antenna. The Lil Will isn't either. I'd try a K-40 or a better model Wilson antenna.

I have a cracked screen (toshiba tecra m2) and have an opportunity to buy a replacement screen from a tecra m2 S630 that is broken. Are the screens interchangeable?

Can't answer your screen question, but I can propose a workaround - your Toshiba laptop has a
monitor port on the back - you can plug in a standard monitor, and ignore the cracked screen
temporarily until you can replace it. hope this helps

The monitor port is the 15-pin analog VGA D-shell (female) port.

Display fault

Sounds like a bad screen. If you hook up your computer to an external monitor and it's okay there, then that should confirm it.

Display problem

That does sound like a video card problem. You may be able to replace just the video card if it is it's own component. If it's integrated in to the motherboard, then you will have to replacement the motherboard.

Try contacting Toshiba directly. There is a "Contact" link on the top right-hand side of the page.

Tecra M2 screen failure

Bad RAM probably bad system board. You say there are flashes usually you can check any available beep or flash codes. Sometimes they will tell you what has malfunctioned. Check the mfg. website or manual for diagnostic codes. As for the external monitor you will have to press function F4 or F8 or whatever function key you have with a monitor picture to switch to the external display. Hack
