Washing machine won't spin in the spin cycle. The model # is GWL11US the serial # is EYN654081 I tried to get the date of purchase and couldn't ascertain that info. CAN YOU HELP!

You seem to have a broken component in the machine- I would call the LG contact number and inquire there- depending on how old the model, serial number, date of purchase, proof of purchase, you may get replacement parts and a washing machine isnt too complicated to navigate around. Im sure you could fix it :) But wish you the best of luck- If not- Second hand shops that sell these devices are usually very knowledgeable and for a small fee- you could have it working in no time.

Is there any up & down movement on your drum, if so probably bearings u/s or spider snapped a leg

If wash cycle operates and water drains as should before spin indicates motor spinning. Chances are bad timer If your a real fixer you can remove timer control from panel check and clean all contacts internally making sure none are stuck closed . (Have had 3 110s in my time).not easy but can be done or buy new about 150$ reassemble and check operation.

Sounds like your off balance switch might be faulty.

Most likely the bearing is bad. The outer tub w/ bearing would need to be replaced. The part cost is about 199.99 plus shipping. I would call whirlpool and see if they would cover the part. have the model , serial numbers and a date of purchase. 1-800-253-1301.
