Re: I've lost the remote for the CMT-NE5 and I do not...
You could try purchasing a 3 In 1 universal remote control unit.
These usually scan to find the matched frequency of your appliance, then you can turn on/off with the remote.
These are however limited, and you may not get all of the functions. As with the original remote as supplied.
Alternatively, contact your local supplier, they should be able to assist you further.

I have not found a way to select Audio
In without the remote (and I've tried every combination of buttons I can think of!)
The approved way to select Audio In is to press the FUNCTION button on the RM-SC30 remote that should have been
included with your Sony CMT-NEZ3. See

Hello Check its sled motor. It is the motor that helps to spin the disc inside. If disc do not spin inside, check the voltage at the terminals of this motor. If it is alright, and comes near to 5VDC, the sled motor is damaged and have to be replaced. OK.
The manual says "C13/Disc Error:
The system cannot read the discinformation correctly.mEject the MD once, then insert it again." It seems this error turns up when the system cannot read the disc properly, one reason for which is a dirty/dusty lens. Try a minidisc lens cleaner if you haven't already.
Yes there is. You need to purchase a 1/8 inch jack (standard headphone input) to RCA (red and white) cord, they usually run approx. $20 - $25). Once you have that what you'll need to do is plug the RCA cord into the back of the stereo (corresponding colors, red into the red, white into the white) and set the function to Game (MD). You can do this by pressing the button on your remote or by pressing the function button on the main consul until you see MD on the monitor, press play on your ipod and you're good to go!
