Before u change the lamp for this tv,tv set work fine wright?Yes.Just have dark and dim pictures only wright?Yes.Recheck the tv installation of the lamp again,recheck the door safety latch and colse properly and tightly.Should solved this problems.
Hi, Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655. Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen. Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure. Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem. Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years? Thanks.
This usually means the Lamp is failing. Replacing the Lamp usually fixes it. I would only use a Sony Replacement.
You can order one from Sony at 1800-222-SONY or you may be able to pick one up from a local Sony Retailer.

Hi, Symptom shows that TV needs Lamp replacement. Sony TV Lamp is available in Part Store and lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual of TV.
