How do I fix my dishwasher it is Glem and is showing E4

I found this. All the errors are generic to all models

Hi I'm a kenwood engineer
E4 means that the flood sensor located in the sump of the machine has got wet!
It only should get wet if the machine is leaking somewhere.
The sensor is designed to switch off the machine if triggered... To save flooding your kitchen!
Very good idea really - as most machines don't have this feature and flood the floor until the cycle is finished.
Yes you need to tilt the machine back to drain the water from the sump first.... Then look for your leak. The leak cud be on any hose or water pump... Or the seal under the filter chamber. Once leak fixed and water drained/dry
E4 should clear. Make sure machine is empty and unplugged before messing! :)

and can also be drain error

There is also a video on E4 errors.

Dishwasher not emptying, and leaking water every where

A very frustrating issue to be sure and these questions are not meant to be flippant but I do want to find out if there is actually more than one problem. Does your machine have water leaking even when it is not turned on? You mention that the dishwasher is not emptying - do you simply mean is it not emptying properly?

If water is coming out when the machine is not on, it means you have a leak at the water supply connection that only stops when you turn the water valve off. If the machine fills and immediately starts leaking water during the wash cycle, it means there is a gravity leak usually near the pump. If the water only leaks when the machine should be draining it, it means you have a leak somewhere in the drain line - a not uncommon problem. I've seen several instances where mice have chewed a small hole in the plastic drain line to get the water.

Can you give more specifics about when the water is coming out? Also, your make and model number would be helpful.

Dishwasher is showing an 'LE' error code? What does this mean?

LE on a sumsung dishwasher is a "LEak" warning. There is water in the base of the machine. If you tip the machine sideways 45% the water will run out and the machine will start again. This will not however fix the leak! But it will confirm that you have one

What does the fault E9 mean on our Fisher & Paykel DW60CC dishwasher mean and how do we fix it?

The fault E9 means the controller has a problem. Obviously it is not a complete fault as you are still getting the fault codes. Some key circuit in the controller has become faulty and this prevents dishwasher from working. Usually the controller needs to be replaced. But first try to turn the mains power off and back on after a short delay. This might reset the controller (boot up).

What does e9 fault code mean on my Bosch Dishwasher

E9 error - flood protection activated. Check tray under machine for leaks. If dry, find youself a nice long cable tie and lift the rubber flap at the back of the sump moulding under the filters. Proceed as if rodding out the drains - you'll be surprised how much muck and goo comes out. Usuallysolves it. The drain is blocked it needs to be cleaned then re-checked. --------------- Thanks.

I have a LG LD-1415M It shows EI code which shows water leakage in hose connections or Water is leaked by damages The hoses are all OK and no leaks What do I do

EI means that there is a water inlet problem, but since you have mentioned water was coming into the machine fine and all the hoses are ok it should be the motor that had died and therefore could not pump the water around the machine .If your machine is about as old as 3 years then perhaps that is the life span of the motor. Good luck!

E3 is showing up on the screen. We were told in the past this means that the probe is clogged we cleaned it out the way the guy showed us but this has not solved the problem.

E3 is -- water did not reach the middle probe in time. It's the longer of the two probes in the right rear corner. they should be white plastic insulators with stainless pins . Scale may be built up on the pins. Check for corrosion on the probe assembly connector on the rear outside. The connector is directly under the vacuum breaker which will leak if dirty of if pressure is low.. Watch the control board leds to monitor water level as it's filling. make sure you have 20 PSI fill flow pressure. Your system may be choked with scale restricting flow rate.

I have a Smeg DWF410 dishwasher with error message E9

E9 is a repetative E1 error - flood protection activated. Check tray under machine for leaks. If dry, find youself a nice long cable tie and lift the rubber flap at the back of the sump moulding underr the filters. Proceed as if rodding out the drains - you'll be surprised how much muck and goo comes out. Usually solves it.

If problem still persists, let me know.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
