1. Boot up with Windows installation CD 2. It will give you the option to use RECOVERY CONSOLE 3. Type chkdsk to check disk - this fixes bad blocks and moves data to another area. 4. When completed, remove Windows installation CD and reboot computer
Seems like really hard problem, maybe something with laptop motherboard. But on other side, it can be just some virus. Try google for Eset Online test and let it scan your computer for viruses. its free. Always use good antivirus. One of best is Avast. And its free. Download it from avast.com (Home edition).

Make sure Wireless Zero Config is running. Try to uninstall the wireless assitant software that came with the laptop (NOT THE WIRELESS CARD DRIVERS!!) and use the built in windows wireless assistant. (Usuelly does the job untill you deside someday to format your computer.)
first you should go into safe mode and get a start up manager program and stop the programs from running at start up ,clean your computer with all in one cleaning software i have auslogics boost speed, upgrading your ram would help making it faster, get rid of the unwanted programs you dont need, get rid of the unwanted files you dont need and go to task manager and stop the unwanted processes from running thats just a few things you could try so it wont freeze up and it will be faster i clean my computer weekly so it doesnt slow down bc everytime you go on the internet it adds files to your computer that you dont need after your done. When you said your cursor freeze, does the computer still respond or the whole computer froze. If the computer froze, then it could be anything from, memory, hard drive, cpu, or mainboard. Does the keyboard works, if just the cursor freeze, try using a usb mouse.
