I forgot my passcode and cant get in to my ipod what do i do?

This has worked with me every time I have done it so it should work.

1. Open up iTunes on your PC and connect your iPod.
2. When iTunes loads up, click on your iPod on the left task bar.
3. When the screen loads up, click on 'Backup iPod'. Type in a passcode to access it later and write it down and KEEP IT SAFE! Very important. Then click on OK.
4. Let iTunes back up your iPod.
5. Then, On the same screen, click on 'Restore'.
6. It should say something about that the restore needs to be allowed by Apple. On that popup, click OK.
7. Wait for the iPod to be restored.
8. Another screen should come up saying if you want to set up the iPod as a new one or from a backup file. Select 'Restore from backup ______'s iPod' and everything will be put back on your iPod.

If this doesn't work, Follow the steps above again but missing out step 3. And when you get to step 8, instead of selecting 'Restore from backup ______'s iPod' select set up as new iPod. The you will either have to put everything back on manually or iTunes will Sync your iPod and it will do everything for you.

Hope it helps. Good luck.

My son was playing with it for a few minutes and it's stuck in zoom mode. I've tried restarting it..

You are in Zoom mode, its a feature of the phone. With 3 fingers, just double tap the screen.

To prevent this happening again, go to Settings>Accessibility and switch the Zooom function off.

I have the white screen on my ipod nano 2nd gen i tried the reboot, restore, debug everything i cant see any logos text or anything i cracked my old screen ao i bought this put it in and bam white screen...

Hi.

This is probably caused by not allowing the firmware update to finish the installation before disconnecting the iPod. Try these steps:

Reset the iPod:
  1. Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
  3. You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.

Put iPod into Disk Mode:

Apple suggests that you ensure your iPod is charged before following the next step. How exactly you check a charge on an iPod screen that is completely white has yet to be revealed. But hey, give it a shot anyway. Plug the iPod into a high-powered USB port, let it sit for 2 hours, then disconnect it. If you have a wall charger, plug in the iPod, then follow these steps while it is still plugged in.
  1. Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears
  3. Immediately switch your figures to press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until "Disk Mode" appears at the top.

For a lot of people, this solves the problem. Connect the iPod to the computer and (assuming it shows up) reset the iPod again to get it out of Disk Mode. If at this point you still have the white screen, restore the iPod using the restore function in iTunes under the Summary tab (this will erase everything on the iPod and put it at factory settings).

Don't disconnect or eject the iPod until the store is totally done. After you think it's done, wait another five minutes

My i phone screen has gone dead. I tried oressing button on top and by doing that apple sign comes on screen but goes off after some time and again screen goes dead.

Youre iPhones problem is for some reason, its default settings are (too heavy) so put it into DFU mode and restore it. DFU mode = Hold the home button and the top button for 10 seconds then release the top button and wait...make sure its plugged into the computer or it wont work. wait until the computer and iTunes detects that its in DFU mode. Then restore it.

White screen on my silver 120gb ipod classic

The white screen on Apple Products is never really a good thing.

You've probably heard of the blue screen of death(Windows) and the red ring of death(XBox), the white screen is referred to the white screen of death, normally not something you can recover from.

But try this anyway:

Reset the iPod:
  1. Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
  3. You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.

HELP

To restore the iPod, you go into iTunes, plug in your iPod, and on the sort of, iPod Menu Start-Up Page, there is a section called Version. It's on the screen when the iPod is plugged in, so you don't need to click on something called Version, and in that it says "If you are experiencing problems with your iPod, you can restore its original settings by clicking Restore." To the right of this, there is a restore button.
Restore deletes everything on the iPod, and then puts it back on.
You will lose saved games though.
Hope I helped.
Jon.

What You have to do is hold the top button and the power button at same time for more than 25 second this will lead to recovery mode, on recovery mode you connect to your pc and then restore it , if is taking longer to get into recovery mode plug it in the power adapter and then put in recovery mode. once you have it restore it.

This happen to me, it got stuck on the apple screen and it was restarting on and off and i could connect it because it recognize it when it turn on and few a second later it turn off.

so just put it in recovery mode first and then restore it.
